SLS ATTENDS 36TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LIGHTNING PROTECTION (ICLP)
SLS’ Dr. Dustin Hill has the incredible privilege of attending the 36th ICLP this week, held in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.
The ICLP is being held on the African continent for the first time and is hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg). More than 200 papers will be presented at this year’s ICLP, representing more than 40 countries. The ICLP presents an amazing opportunity for lightning researchers from around the world to share their latest research and build lasting professional and personal relationships.
Dr. Hill and Dr. Carlos Mata co-authored two publications that will be presented at the 36th ICLP:
1) MERLIN Low Detection Efficiency Study Results: First Two Years
2) Performance Evaluation of Non-Conventional Lightning Protection Systems Based on NLDN Data
